The 2024 Application Deadline for the Fred Ross
Scholarship is March 1, 2024

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Fred Ross Scholarship, the applicant must:
• be in a final year of study at a New Brunswick High School
• be pursuing post secondary education in visual arts or fine craft
• gain acceptance at a recognized educational institution

Required Components of Submission
There are 7 components in a complete application.
SHMF requests visual components (#1-2) and print components (#3-7) in this application process.
The visual components are:
1) A disc presenting images of your work.
You may submit 10 images OR 5 images and 1 video not exceeding 5 minutes
2) A frontal head shot of the artist suitable for distribution to the press.
The print components are:
3) A completed application form as provided
4) A short artist’s statement
5) A curriculum vitae
6) A letter of reference
7) A numbered list of images submitted for consideration
