ACAC Bursary Application 2024 – Final
Date of Approval: March 15, 2023
Definitions:
1. Ongoing Student: This is defined, for this program, as a person currently attending school and planning to enroll in any advanced training or post-secondary program(s).
2. Mature Student: This is defined, for this program, as a person who has been out of school for at least one year and has decided to upgrade at any advanced training or post-secondary program(s).
Application Requirements:
1. Application is open to any resident of Albert County, with preference given to current or recent clients of either the Albert County Food Bank or the Shepody Assistance Centre.
2. Applicants must complete the bursary application form.
3. Applicants may apply for assistance prior to acceptance into their course of study. However, proof of enrollment is required and funds will only be disbursed directly to the institution to which the applicant is accepted.
4. Both full-time and part-time studies are eligible.
5. A single bursary can be less, but will not exceed $1000.
6. ACAC reserves the right to refuse an application.
7. ACAC may ask to interview an applicant, at its discretion.
