Arts Scholarships Program

The Arts Scholarships Program is designed to recognize and encourage New
Brunswick students who have demonstrated exceptional artistic talent and potential,
and who are pursuing a career in the arts. Applicants may pursue studies in
architecture, craft, dance, literary arts, media arts, multidisciplinary arts, classical and
non-classical music, theatre, visual arts and arts administration.

HOW MUCH CAN I RECEIVE ?
Up to $2,500 per year for full-time post-secondary studies OR
Up to $1,000 per year for part-time or short-term studies
The applicant must be a Canadian citizen, have an affiliation with a First Nation on Turtle
Island, be a permanent resident of Canada or have an application for permanent resident
in process; and must have resided in New Brunswick for at least one year immediately
preceding the application deadline.

HOW TO APPLY ONLINE:
Description of the course or program including tuition fees
Resume and official transcript
Portfolio of recent artistic work (images, text or audio/video)
350-word description of the applicant’s professional career plans
Two (2) mandatory letters of recommendation.
