DESCRIPTION:Value: $5000\n\nDeadline: January 17\, 2024\n\n\n\nDewalt is accepting applications for the 2024 Dewalt Trades Scholarship\, which provides financial assistance to those pursuing a trade degree or certificate. \nNow in its fifth year\, the program will award $200\,000 in scholarships to 40 students across the United States and Canada. \nOnly the first 1000 applications submitted will be considered for scholarship evaluation. \nApplicants of the DEWALT Trades Scholarship award must:\n\n\nBe citizens of the United States or Canada.\nBe high school seniors or graduates\, or current postsecondary undergraduate students.\nPlan to enroll or are enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year college or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year\nHave or had a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)\nMajoring in a trade construction\, industrial\, motor/power sector\, mechanics\, or technology degree/certificate\, which includes but are not limited to the following fields:\n\n\n\n\nAutomotive Technology\nAviation Technology\nCarpentry\nConstruction\nDiesel Technology\nElectrical Technology\nFire Science\nHeavy Equipment Operation\nHVAC\nMachinery\nManufacturing\nPipefitting\nPlumbing\nWelding
