DESCRIPTION:The deadline to apply for The Chris Huskilson Emera Scholarship is April 19\, 2024. \nThe 2024 Chris Huskilson Emera Scholarship (icims.com) \nEligibility   \n\nApplicants must be entering first year of an Undergraduate Program in the areas of Science (Natural)\, Technology\, Engineering\, Entrepreneurship\, or Mathematics from an Atlantic Canadian University in September 2024;\nApplicants must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants\, and a resident of one of the four Atlantic Provinces;\nApplicants must demonstrate academic excellence (80% average or above);\nWe strongly encourage applications from all qualified applicants\, including persons who identify as racially visible\, Indigenous\, persons with disabilities\, women pursuing education in an underrepresented field\, and members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. We welcome you to self-identify in your application where applicable.\n\nPlease ensure your application includes all of the following; \n\nYour resume;\nA high school transcript (Grade 10-12\, including fall semester marks);\nYour personal essay* (max 500 words);\nReference letter(s). DESCRIPTION:The deadline to submit your application is April 19\, 2024 \nThe 2024 Emera Employees’ Children Scholarship (icims.com) \nThe 2024 Emera Employees’ Children Scholarship \nThe Emera Scholarship for Employees’ Children offers one (1) non-renewable $2\,000 award to children/dependents of regular employees or retirees of Emera Inc.\, Emera Energy\, Emera New Brunswick\, and Emera Newfoundland & Labrador. Past recipient winners are welcome to re-apply each year. \nCriteria \n\nAs the applicant\, you must be the child of a regular employee or retiree of Emera Inc.\, Emera Energy\, Emera New Brunswick\, and/ or Emera Newfoundland & Labrador.\nA Canadian citizen or landed immigrant.\nRecipients are selected based on a solid academic record (minimum 75% average)\, their written essay\, (community) leadership\, and involvement in extracurricular activities.\n\nApplication Requirements \nTo qualify please complete the Emera Employees’ Children Scholarship online application by uploading the following mandatory documents: \n\nYour resume.\nYour High School transcript (Grade 10-12\, including fall semester marks).\nA minimum of one (1) reference letter.
