SUMMARY:Schulich Leader Scholarships
DESCRIPTION:Schulich Leader Scholarships are Canada’s most coveted undergraduate STEM scholarships. One hundred are awarded to entrepreneurial-minded high school graduates enrolling in a Science\, Technology\, Engineering or Math program at 20 partner universities across Canada. Half are valued at $120\,000 for engineering scholarships and half are valued at $100\,000* for science and math scholarships. Every high school in Canada can nominate one graduating student each year to apply for the scholarship. \nSince 2012\, Schulich Leader Scholarships have been rewarding and advancing the best and brightest Canadian and Israeli undergraduates studying Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, and Math. We’re proud of the program and the benefits for our recipients. SUMMARY:2024 Union Plus Scholarship
DESCRIPTION:Application deadline: 12:00 PM (Noon\, Eastern Standard Time)\, Wednesday January 31\, 2024 \nAward amounts:  $500 to $4\,000.  These one-time cash awards are for study beginning in the Fall of 2024. Students may re-apply each year. \nEligibility criteria: \n\nCurrent and retired members of unions participating in any Union Plus program\, their spouses and their dependent children (as defined by IRS regulations) are eligible. Grandchildren are not eligible unless a legal dependent (as defined by IRS regulations).  At least one year of continuous union membership by the applicant\, applicant’s spouse or parent (if applicant is a dependent). The one year membership minimum must be satisfied by May 31\, 2024.\nMembers of participating unions from the U.S.\, Puerto Rico\, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada are eligible.\nThe applicant must be accepted into a U.S. accredited college\, university\, community college\, technical or trade school at the time the award is issued.  Awards must be used for the 2024 – 2025 school year.\nUndergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.\n\nhttps://www.unionplus.org/benefits/education/union-plus-scholarships
